Colin Self gives us a taste of their upcoming album r∞L4nGc (2025) with the new single “Doll Park Doll Park,” coupled with a performative music video. The album will be released on 21 February 2025 by label RVNG Intl.
Colin Self, a vital figure in the queer underground, continues to push boundaries with their latest double A-side singles, “gajo” and “Doll Park Doll Park,” from the forthcoming album respite ∞ levity for the nameless ghost in crisis (r∞L4nGc, 2025). Blending contemporary queer nightlife with a reverence for departed elders, the tracks channel dance music as a ritual: raw, urgent, and transcendent.
The song “gajo” features Self’s stirring vocals, calling for escape and grace over a stuttered beat, while “Doll Park Doll Park” spins bodies into chaos with puppet-like movements. The accompanying video – produced by Self themself and with art direction by Bobbi Salvör Menuez – captures the erratic joy of the album’s protagonist and chosen family, offering a glimpse into Self’s singular, otherworldly vision.

Colin Self presents the world premiere of operatic performance Gasp! at Rewire 2025. The second opera in Self’s Shadow series, Gasp! is a work about trans-dimensional dialogue, spiritual guidance, and queer ancestry that showcases Self’s iridescent practice of song, movement, and spectacle.
