Coming up this weekend at Haagse Popweek, Rewire is proud to present two sonic workshops for producers, musicians, and artists.
The first of which, ‘Bandlab: Music Production Beats and Samples,’ shows how to approach music production with a focus on sampling and beat creation. The workshop will be led by composer, pianist, and music technology teacher Guillem Góngora Moral and takes place at Pop Radar on Saturday, 19 October, 20:00–22:00.
The second workshop, ‘Hacking the Beats,’ teaches participants how to work in the Mercury programming environment so they can create code-based music. Hosted by artist, live coder, and music technologist Timo Hoogland, it takes place at Pop Radar on Sunday, 19 October, 20:00–22:00.
We are happy to work in collaboration with Haagse Popweek on these workshop opportunities for aspiring musicians working in The Hague. Be sure to check Haagse Popweek’s full programme of workshops, talks, demo panels and knowledge sessions with music professionals from all over the country.
