Today marks the release day for musician, singer, music producer, DJ, and composer Oklou’s newest album choke enough (2025), featuring collaborations with Bladee and underscores.
Oklou’s productions morph and shift, tethered by ambient pads, they flow between moments of euro-dance tonality and quiet R&B melody. Following up her breakout mixtape-album Galore (2020), choke enough features murmuring chamber pop and sparkling ambient production, as a new evolution of her distinct sound. It releases today on streaming platforms and physical media. Oklou was also the recent cover artist for Crack Magazine’s February 2025 issue.
