After cathartic shows at Rewire's festival in 2015 and 2023, Godspeed You! Black Emperor return to The Hague once more. On Monday 17 March 2025 they perform their only Dutch date of this tour at PAARD. Any of those lucky to be there during their Rewire 2023 performance will tell you that Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s reputation as a legendary live band is truly deserved. Shrouding themselves in mystery, the group chooses to let their bristling, harrowing post-rock tones speak for them.

Their new album NO TITLE AS OF 13 FEBRUARY 2024 28,340 DEAD carries in its title a call for listeners to not look away from the horrors unfolding in Palestine, a message that is in line with their long-standing anti-war stance. The new songs carry a grievous energy that is palpably heart-wrenching and yet ever-imbued with hopeful crackles of energy. Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s live performances combine projection and film-collage with their mammoth cinematic songs to create an audiovisual world that carries the sorrows of ours and yet is unlike any other.
