As part of a new series of playlists from artists performing at the festival, Rewire is proud to present a curated playlist from Egyptian producer and DJ Hassan Abou Alam. 

Abou Alam’s tracks are ever surprising: creating deep, rigorous sounds for the thinking-club-goer and the moving-club-goer alike. Falling somewhere and everywhere along the wide spectrum of industrial, techno, and club music, his inventive electronic productions are distinctive and impossible to define. Before his appearance at Rewire 2025, Abou Alam was invited to prepare a playlist that shares some of his inspirations from his home city of Cairo and from further afoot as well.

"All the music in this playlist has influenced me in one way or another,” Abou Alam says of the playlist. “Whether it be in songwriting, creativity, or just by enhancing my mood."
