CAAOSSS x Rewire

with Composition, ArtScience, Art of Sound and Sonology (Royal Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Arts)

Students from the Composition, ArtScience, Art of Sound, and Sonology departments at the Royal Academy of Arts and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague will present a special Rewire edition of CAAOSSS at the New Music Lab in Amare. The theme, "a cognizant gush," invites the artists to explore questions of knowledge and its creation, challenging the prioritisation of technical, abstract, and articulated ways of knowing. Through their works, they aim to complicate notions of intelligence by emphasising collaborative aspects of musicking, musing on feedback, extending bodies, wondering and wandering, weaving poetry into DNA, communicating with the more than human, tuning into embodied knowledge, creating a cognition distributed beyond the individual, and extending beyond the human.

CAAOSSS is a student-run, collaborative, and recurring event series from the Composition, Art Science, Art of Sound, and Sonology departments of the Royal Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague. In 2023 and 2024 CAAOSSS is run by Arefeh Hekmatpanah, Gregor Connelly, Otis Thomet, and Yannis Mihos.
Artists and performers participating are Amba Klapwij, Ania Osuch (Performers: Ania Osuch, Ye Ni Jeong, Zuzanna Dziedzic), Arefeh Hekmatpanah (Performer: Ghazal Faghihi), Faux (Performers: Hugo Ariëns, Otis Thomet, Pedro Latas, Quartus Vlak), and Paulius Mikalajunas, and Tadas Vinskevicius

As there is a maximum capacity of visitors for the concert, please reserve a free ticket.
