As a music festival we are constantly considering the performative nature of music and the ways in which artists are choosing to express their work, be it alone or in collaboration. With Staging Sound we look at music as an experience, a ritual and a show. For this panel, we invite artists who move beyond the sonic; vocal performance artist Elaine Mitchener, pioneering electronic musician and sound artist Mark Fell and DJ and producer Sega Bodega, each of whom will be presenting a new and unique performance piece at Rewire 2019.
