Seefeel

NL premiere

Made up of the core duo of Mark Clifford and Sarah Peacock, Seefeel are a group with a long-arching history of electronic experimentation through otherworldly dubby harmonics. Their sound is one of ethereal echoes, bassy undercurrents, and twinkling melodious ambience. Following a series of adored releases in the mid-nineties on iconic labels such as Warp Records and Aphex Twin’s Rephlex, Seefeel went on hiatus in 1997. 10 years later, Clifford and Peacock returned, joined on drums by former Boredoms drummer Iida Kazuhisa and on bass by Shigeru Ishihara. This new iteration of Seefeel released an eponymous album in 2010. They reemerged once more from the shadows in 2024, returning to Warp Records to release Everything Squared (2024), which offers a contemporary evolution of their distinct shoegazey ambient dream-dub – their first new music as Seefeel in nearly 15 years. Picking things back up as if no time has passed, Seefeel’s Everything Squared is timeless, brimming with abstract and ornamental flourishes – proving they still have that special spark which ignited their early work. Joined by Darren Seymour  on bass, the trio will perform together live at Rewire in the historic Lutherse Kerk.
