Performing on Saturday 4 April & Sunday 5 April
New York-based composer, performer and sound designer Lea Bertucci explores the relationship between acoustic phenomena and biological resonance. Playing multiple instruments and through magnetic tape manipulations, she’s developed a body of work that encompasses performance, installation and multichannel activations of space. Recent records have captured sonic interventions in forgotten locations around the world, like a grain elevator in Buffalo and a former military base in France. The results are evocative psychoacoustic documents of an artist’s intimate interaction with their environment. Bertucci will perform a solo saxophone and electronics set at Rewire 2020.
