Fragile Minutes aims to foster a conversational gathering among local and international artists and curators, exploring how place, sound, and community find each other through networks of support, while acknowledging the fragility of these temporalities and places. The assembly will discuss the aspirational, social, and sonic fabrics that sustain the subcultures that allow for electronic music to flourish and be collectively carried.
Invited guests include local artists, organisers, and musicians from The Hague: Robin van der Heijden (The Grey Space Scenius Residency), Joeri Woudstra and Anna Møller (Laak), and Cis De Gendt (default), alongside Rewire artist Liliane Chlela. The assembly is co-curated with and moderated by Federica Notari, researcher at het Nieuwe Instituut, and initiator of the research project Through Sounds. Fragile Minutes is the outcome of the collaboration between Rewire and Nieuwe Instituut’s research project Through Sounds.
Bringing together these artists and place-makers, experimental scene initiators, DJs, and musicians, the assembly will centre on identifying common threads for supporting infrastructures – be they physical, digital, or ephemeral – and consider how they can possibly sustain music scenes amidst the fragility of cultures, subcultures, and places.
Prior to the Fragile Minutes assembly, you're invited to attend the Fragile Minutes: deep fried listening with corecore at Page Not Found.
