Fragile Minutes fosters a conversational gathering with rEmPiT g0dDe$$ and alys(alys)alys, exploring coming-of-age experiences through music. The conversation will trace how deeply personal encounters with music and sounds evolve into collective expressions and moments of gathering, where music becomes a companion in shaping identity in relation to place and others.
These experiences serve as the starting point for the creation of shared scenes and spaces. Through the internet and club culture, music bridges the gap between isolated experiences and communal infrastructures, forming networks of shared meaning and distribution. Tracks themselves become social objects – carrying stories, sparking interactions, and transforming spaces. By thinking about how music shapes and is shaped by personal and communal journeys, the conversation will explore the interplay between the individual and the collective in the process of coming of age.
The conversation is co-curated and moderated by Federica Notari, researcher at Nieuwe Instituut, and initiator of the research project Through Sounds.
