Hailing from Lewisham in South East London, producer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist Coby Sey has emerged as a distinctive presence in the contemporary music landscape. His shifting and disorienting vision sits at the intersection of club and experimental music, melding recognisable motifs of hip hop, drone, jazz and grime into a dubbed-out anaesthesia. Performed live, these dreamlike compositions are imbued with a heavy and uneasy dancefloor energy, amplified by live instrumentation.

Following his 2022 trio performance, Coby makes his return to Rewire to mark the release of his debut album, Conduit (AD93), this time in a five-piece formation with close collaborators Leisha Thomas (Alpha Maid), Momoko Gill (MettaShiba), Ben Vince and CJ Calderwood (Lol K/Good Sad Happy Bad), as well as bespoke lighting design by Charlie Hope.
