Antonina Nowacka ft. Anne La Berge & Doriene Marselje

Antonina Nowacka is a vocalist, composer, and sound artist who creates bubbling and lively worlds of echo. At Rewire 2025, Nowacka will be joined by two renowned musicians of the Dutch contemporary music scene: flutist, composer, and improviser Anne La Berge and harpist Doriene Marselje. Nowacka draws on the aesthetics and acoustics of the environment. This manifests in her music through, for example, time spent singing in Indonesian caves, which resulted in her album Lamunan (2020). Her latest album, Sylphine Soporifera (2024) – inspired by the desert landscape of Paracas and the undulating tree-less hills of the Outer Hebrides – peels back the layers of life to unveil the simple truths hidden just beyond the veil. Her masterful blend of new age and experimental choral music allows her voice to shine – providing a beacon of imagination and possibility in these uncertain times.

Antonina Nowacka is an artist of the SHAPE+ platform for innovative music and interdisciplinary art, co-funded by the European Union and Pro Helvetia.
