Brazil-born, Berlin-based alys(alys)alys is a DJ and producer who collages experimental club music from pop-culture fragments. DJing from age 16 onwards, alys(alys)alys listened to a lot of different sounds, from indie rock to early dubstep – this diversity of genres comes through in her playful, eclectic DJ sets of today, where her wide range of influences, from pop oddities of the early 2000s to the club music of her native Brazil, can be heard. In her booty&legs series, she produces gritty, club-ready, and deviously dubby mashups from unlikely bedfellows, including a delectable blend of Yung Lean and Burial on "u lips me." At Rewire, alys(alys)alys brings her heaters to the basement of The Grey Space in The Middle for a DJ set of bassy experimentation.
